Since the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and the devastation caused with a loss of so many lives, Elim Missions have been in contact with a number of our partners to find the most effective response we can make as an Elim Family.
Over the last 12 months Elim Missions have been working with Samaritan’s Purse in Ukraine and having seen their ability to mobilise large scale support quickly, and they believe it would be fruitful to join with them once again.
With the permission of the Turkish Government and the World Health Organization, Samaritan’s Purse is deploying a 52-bed Emergency Field Hospital into the region including two operating rooms, and 75 staff to address the immediate medical needs of people impacted by the devastation in Turkey.
They are also distributing critically needed items such as tarpaulins, hygiene kits, and blankets to help people as they are facing exposure to extremely cold temperatures.
Their state-of-the-art medical facility with all the necessary equipment to be self-sufficient, including generators and water purification systems, the facility functions as a fully independent hospital.
At this time Elim Missions are also exploring a few other partner organisations who they may work with on this ERA.

- Pray for the families of the 50,000+ who have lost loved ones, and for those who are still waiting to hear if their loved ones are safe.
- Pray for the thousands who have been injured
- Pray for the relief efforts and rescue attempts which are still ongoing.
- Pray that there will be no more tremors.
