Last week, some of the men in the church got together to talk about ‘How we make decisions’. I can hear the laughter from the women that know them only too well, as they ask ‘How to make decisions? What do any of you know about making decisions!’ Anyway, we had a great conversation about our desire to serve God, live well, and make good decisions.
This week I came across this short, reassuringly sane approach to all these issues in a book written by Kevin DeYoung. It’s a great head title, and an even better subtitle:
Just Do Something
How to Make a Decision Without Dreams, Visions, Fleeces, Open Doors, Random Bible Verses, Casting Lots, Liver Shivers or writing in the sky etc.
Recommended for all of us who don’t want to get things wrong!
