Do something new – Prayer

I received a Groupon ad asking if I wanted to pay to ‘train my brain’ last week as I was preparing to speak – this week we are looking at prayer and how we train ourselves to pray with others in mind!

Prayer shapes us, teaches us to sit before Jesus and pray on behalf of others, it causes us to stop and listen.

This does not come easy to some and so we default into praying for ourselves or not at all.

Across the nation we are being encouraged to pray the Lord’s Prayer at noon daily, whether sitting at a desk, in school, shopping or running round after children. It allows God to break into our day, not for it to become religious but instead a beautiful prayer that will lead us into training ourselves to pray again.

Let’s train our minds to pray with others in mind.
