What an amazing September we have had, celebrating 75 years of Salford Elim and sharing in the fun of the Hog Roast. God is so faithful, and it is amazing to be able to join as a community to walk this road together. October brings lots of fresh opportunities to come together for fun, fellowship and discipleship. Here are some of what we have ahead, but do check the calendar on the website for more details.
New To Church or Feel New?
Sunday 5th October | 1:30pm | Church
You are invited to lunch on Sunday the 5th October, from 1:30pm – 2:30pm. It will be a chance for us to chat with you and for you to hear a little about our own journey as a church. If you are available and would like to come, please let us know by either texting 07771 558058 or signing up on the info stand in the church building.
Important Announcement: Joint Service With St James
Sunday 19th October | 10:30am | Church
On Sunday 19th October we have a special All Age Joint Service with St James. We do this a couple of times in the year to mark the fact that though we are from different traditions, we are united in Christ.
The service will NOT be streamed that day.
It will begin at 10:30am!
After the service, there will be a Bring and Share Lunch. This is where we all bring some food that can be shared among us all. With it being difficult to warm things up in the kitchen, it’s easier to bring food that is served cold.
Baptsimal Service
Sunday 2nd November | 11:30am | Church
Baptism is the primary marker of us beginning our new life with Jesus. It’s a marker of all that has happened to us in repentance and faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
If you have recently given your life to Christ, or maybe you have been a Christian for a while, but haven’t been baptised yet, this is your chance. Please contact Neil, Ian or Sarah if you know that this is the right next step for you.
Shine Party For All

Giving
Thanks to everyone who gives so faithfully – through Givit, Standing Orders or in cash. We really appreciate it. However you give, if you pay tax (and most of us do these days – even those of you receiving pensions) we can reclaim that tax for the church through Gift Aid. You don’t pay anymore but we receive 25% more. If you haven’t already signed up for this, please take a sheet from the Information stand, fill it out and give it us back. If you want to chat about it, see Jo Parkinson (our Finance Officer) or one of the pastors.
