For those who heard my notice on Sunday this is a little recap and a chance for those who weren’t at church this week to get up to speed.
We have now been to Barnstondale on the Wirral a couple of times for our yearly away day. It was such a success we thought we do it all again but with a few tweaks after listening to your feedback.
Fo those of you who haven’t been it’s based at an activity centre. We have use of a meeting room, dinning room, outside play area, football pitch and sports hall. There is plenty of free time during the day to fellowship, go for a walk in the woods, do craft and play games. In case you want to have a look at the centre in more detail take a look at their website.
Staying the same
- Cost – £20 for adults and £10 for children 3-18.
- You will need to bring a packed lunch but evening meal is provided.
- We can arrange lifts if needed – please try and sort this out yourself but if you’re struggling talk to me (Kate Blundell).
- Possible need for stout shoes if you plan on walking in the woods. Kids may need a change of clothes if they follow my children into the river.
Changes
- Time of year we hope it will be warmer in June.
- We will be running our own kids activities for up to age 16 including a crèche.
- For the evening meal we will be getting outside caterers in who will bring a fish and chip van with a variety of options (not all fish related) including gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options.
