What We Do
Salford Leaders’ Lunches
We believe we can learn from one another. Church leaders from across Salford meet bi-monthly to eat together and encourage one another. We usually sing some worship songs and have a short message before a time of discussion and prayer. If you are a church leader in Salford, you would be very welcome to join us.

Salford Week of Prayer
We believe that prayer changes things, and also that prayer changes us as we align ourselves with God’s heart. Once a year, we devote a week to praying together for our city and recommitting ourselves to working together to help bring transformation. The week is usually bookended by a worship service and we provide free resources to help people pray strategically for Salford that week.
June 5th 2025 – Opening Service @ St. James’ Church on Eccles Old Road, 7-9pm. A chance to worship and pray for the city.
June 7th 2025 – Prayer Walk, 1-3pm, meeting at Elmwood Church on Eccles Old Road. Join us as we take different routes around the area, being open to The Holy Spirit and to those around us.
June 12th 2025: Closing Service, 7-9pm @ Salford Civic Centre. We will worship and pray in the council chambers for those in authority in Salford, as well as for the city as a whole.
Joint Outreach
We believe we can make a greater impact when we work together. Over the years, we have done all sorts of outreach activities, including ‘Party in the Park’, which was a free fun-filled event for all the family in Buille Hill Park, with live music, rides, stalls, prayer tents and evangelistic speakers. Every December, we often sing carols together in local venues such as Salford Royal Hospital. local pubs, shops, and care homes.
Relational Gatherings
We believe that authentic relationship is the foundation of real unity. We need spaces where we can be open, honest and vulnerable with one another, with others who understand the joys and challenges of
church leadership. It’s hard to do this in services and big gatherings so we aim to meet monthly with no agenda other than to share what is going on in our lives and what we feel God might be saying to us. We also have a WhatsApp group where we can share in between meetings.
If you are a church leader and would like to be part of these, do email us: [email protected]
